Banners

In the main menu, go to Content and choose the Banners option. Here, you can add banners and new images. In this article, you will learn how to:

• Choose banner type
• Add a banner for the main carousel on your homepage
• Add main and secondary banners on your homepage
• Add a banner in the Shopping Cart
• Add a banner on the "Order Checkout" page
• Add a banner on the "Order Success" page
• Add a banner on a listing page

• Add a trust icon

Choose banner type

• Click on the Create a Banner button.
• Choose the Display Area for your banner, keeping in mind the recommended size (expressed in pixels) for that area.
• Click on the desired banner type and enter the information according to the instructions below.

Your banners should not exceed 1 MB!

Accepted formats: jpg, jpeg, gif, png, webp.

Add a banner for the main carousel on your homepage

• Name - Enter a name for the image. This name is visible only in the administration area.
• Banner - Upload the desired image from your computer.
• Video - You can add YouTube or Vimeo URLs
• URL - Enter the page’s link that will open the banner
• Title - Enter the banner’s title, which will be displayed under the carousel.
• Active between - Enter the interval in which the banner will be visible in the store or leave the fields blank to display them for an indefinite time.
• Position - Set the display order for the banners on the page.
• Device - Decide if you want to add the banner on a desktop, a mobile device or both.

Add main and secondary banners on your homepage

• Name - Enter a name for the image. This name is visible only in the administration area.
• Banner - Upload the desired image from your computer.
• URL - Enter the page’s link that will open the banner
• Width - Choose from the list the banner’s width you’ve uploaded above
• Title - Optionally, you can add a title to display together with the banner
• Description - Optionally, you can add a text to accompany the banner.
• Text link - Optionally, enter a text for the URL you’ve entered above.
• Active between - Enter the interval in which the banner will be visible in the store or leave the fields blank to display them for an indefinite time
• Position - Set the display order for the banners on the page.
• Device - Decide if you want to add the banner on a desktop, a mobile device or both.

Add a banner in the Shopping Cart

• Name - Enter a name for the image. This name is visible only in the administration area.
• Banner - Upload the desired image from your computer.
• URL - Enter the page’s link that will open the banner
• Active between - Enter the interval in which the banner will be visible in the store or leave the fields blank to display them for an indefinite time
• Position - Set the display order for the banners on the page.
• Device - Decide if you want to add the banner on a desktop, a mobile device or both.

This banner will be visible in the shopping cart under order information.

Add a banner at "Order Checkout"

• Name - Enter a name for the image. This name is visible only in the administration area.
• Banner - Upload the desired image from your computer.
• URL - Enter the page’s link that will open the banner
• Active between - Enter the interval in which the banner will be visible in the store or leave the fields blank to display them for an indefinite time
• Position - Set the display order for the banners on the page.
• Device - Decide if you want to add the banner on a desktop, a mobile device or both.

As for the banner's size, the 600px represents the banner's width; you will set the height based on the space you need.

This banner will be visible on the order checkout page.

Add a banner on the "Order Success" page

• Name - Enter a name for the image. This name is visible only in the administration area.
• Banner - Upload the desired image from your computer.
• URL - Enter the page’s link that will open the banner
• Active between - Enter the interval in which the banner will be visible in the store or leave the fields blank to display them for an indefinite time
• Position - Set the display order for the banners on the page.
• Device - Decide if you want to add the banner on a desktop, a mobile device or both.

Add a banner on the Product Listings page

• Name - Enter a name for the image. This name is visible only in the administration area.
• Banner - Upload the desired image from your computer.
• Display in - Choose one or more categories in which to display the banner.
• URL - Enter the page’s link that will open the banner
• Active between - Enter the interval in which the banner will be visible in the store or leave the fields blank to 
• Position - Set the display order for the banners on the page.
• Device - Decide if you want to add the banner on a desktop, a mobile device or both.

Add a banner in the Main Menu

This banner will be displayed only for categories that have subcategories. Keep this in mind when you add your banner!

• Name - Enter a name for the image. This name is visible only in the administration area.
• Banner - Upload the desired image from your computer.
• Display in - Choose one or more categories in which to display the banner.
• URL - Enter the page’s link that will open the banner
• Active between - Enter the interval in which the banner will be visible in the store or leave the fields blank to 
• Position - Set the display order for the banners on the page.
• Device - Decide if you want to add the banner on a desktop, a mobile device or both.

Add Trust Icons

The "trust icons" area in your homepage is the place where you can highlight the services you are offering with the help of images, as in the example below:

• Name - Enter a name for the image. This name is visible only in the administration area.
• Icon - Upload the desired image from your computer.
• URL - Optionally, enter the page's link that will open the banner.
• Title - Enter the main text, which will be displayed next to the icon.
• Subtitle - Optionally, you can enter a secondary text displayed under the text entered previously.
• Explanatory text - Optionally, you can enter an explanatory text to display when you place the mouse over the icon.
• Active between - Enter the interval in which the banner will be visible in the store or leave the fields blank to display them for an indefinite time
• Position - Set the display order for the banners on the page.
• Device - Decide if you want to add the banner on a desktop, a mobile device or both.

Don't forget to save all your work by clicking on the Save banner button on the screen's top right.
