Image Gallery

If you want to add to your site an Image Gallery, you can go to the Gomag Apps and search for the app, or you can request its activation if you send an email to help@gomag.ro. After the app is enabled, you will find this option in the main menu, Modules section. 

When you open the app, click on Create Gallery in the top-right of the screen.

You will be prompted with a window in which you need to enter the information about the gallery.

In the Details tab, you need to enter a title for your gallery. For Description, you need to enter a text which will emphasize the gallery’s content. For the Enabled option, you have to choose if you want your gallery to be active on your website, i.e. if it will be displayed or not. And if you have multiple galleries, by priority.

If you have multiple galleries with the same theme, you can group them in one category.

Next, you need to add the images that you want to be displayed in the gallery. To add images, go to the Content tab and click on Upload Image.

After you’ve added the desired images with drag and drop, you can change their display order.

If you have uploaded multiple images, the gallery will open on a new page, where all the images are displayed in the order set by you.

If you only have one image, it will open in a pop-up window.

In the Content tab, you can add products as well. Click on Add Products and choose from your product listing the ones you want to add to the gallery.

After you add the desired product, click on the Save button, and the product and the gallery image will be displayed like in the example below.

In the SEO tab, enter the necessary information for better optimization of your gallery page.

To add to your gallery page a more personal note, in the Main Menu, Content section, Pages, go to Gallery and enter the information you want to be displayed on your website. For more information about page editing and adding elements to your pages, see THIS ARTICLE.

To make the Image Gallery visible in your online store, you can add it to your store’s menu. Go to the Content section, Menus option, and choose the Secondary Menu, from where you can choose the Image Gallery page, give it a name, and enable it into your store.
