Advanced SEO

The Advanced SEO app helps you optimise your page categories and product pages easily and without the need to manually add a meta title, meta description, and text to each of them. These meta descriptions can be displayed in all the categories or only in the categories selected by you.

Also, you can create meta descriptions for filtering pages. These meta descriptions will be helpful when you apply one or more filters on a listing page. See how to create meta descriptions in THIS ARTICLE.

You can request the Advanced SEO app's activation via an email to our support team or in Gomag Apps. After you enable this app, you can find it in the Main Menu, Modules section.

To set a rule, choose the Advanced SEO app in the Modules section from the main menu and click on Add Rule in the screen's top-right.

After you click on Add Rule, a new page will open where you need to add the necessary information, which will create the rule. It is mandatory to fill in the Name field to quickly find the rule when you want to deactivate it or change information.

Your next step is to choose to create the rule for Product Listings (categories) or Product Details.

If you want to create a rule for Product Listings, you need to fill in the fields below with all the necessary information. In these fields, you will enter the desired text with the available dynamic values.

Fill in only the fields with the information you want to display on your website.

After you’ve entered all the information that you want to display on your website, go to the next tab called Options.

Here, you can choose if what you have entered before can overwrite what you had already on your website. This means that the meta title, meta description and the text filled in the SEO tab of a category will be replaced with the last information you’ve entered.

If for the Overwrite option you choose NO, what you have entered before will not replace the optimizations you’ve made in the categories’ SEO tab. This information will be displayed only in the categories where there wasn’t any information entered.

In the Display option, you can choose where to display the information previously entered.

These can be displayed in All listing pages or only in those selected by you.

In the Brands option, you can choose the brands for which the information you’ve previously entered appears.

To display the information on your website, go to the Enabled option and choose YES.

When you are done, don’t forget to click on the Save button.

2. Product Details

If you choose to create a rule for Product Details, you will be prompted with a few fields that you need to fill in.

Your first step is to add a name; then, you need to fill in the meta description for the title and a description with the desired variables.

And in the Options tab, you need to follow the exact steps described above.

You can create meta descriptions for news pages, special offers pages or search results.

With the Advanced SEO app, you can add H1 type titles and products with variants.
